According to the above list, we can make an analysis as below:

1.The wear consumption per ton of ore for hot rolled ball is lower above 40% than high chromium casted balls; raising the output and reducing the power consumption.

2.Various technical parameters of hot rolled balls are 15-300% higher than casted balls. The ball mill operates with stable vibration, the current of ball mill is balanced and the production capacity is higher. All the above-mentioned aspects of ball mill are superior to casted steel balls. 

3.By analyzing the concentration and fineness of mineral processing, the standard of hot rolled balls is in full accordance with the mineral processing requirements of mining enterprises. Various data are higher than high-chromium casted balls. 

4.A ball mill has a longer actual production time for hot rolled steel balls than casted balls.

B)Comparison in cost and benefit of steel balls:

According to the use data provided by an iron concentrate enterprise of 10 million tons per year, we have drawn up a comparison of cost and benefit between hot rolled grinding balls and caseted balls used by the enterprise:

(1)By using hot rolled grinding balls, wear consumption of steel ball per ton of raw ore can reduce around RMB2.5 yuan. Calculating based on 1 ton concentrate from 3 ton raw ore mineral processing, 75 million yuan per year of steel ball cost can be reduced for 10 million tons iron concentrate output per year; the cost reduction, efficiency increase, energy saving and emission reduction can be achieved really. 

(2)The change interval of hot rolled grinding balls is at least 170 days longer than casted balls. The production period of ball mill using hot rolled grinding balls is around 170 days longer than using casted balls. The production capacity has been improved when the labor cost remains unchanged. 

(3)To take general iron ore mining enterprise for example, each ton of iron ore needs to be amortized by various expenses. After using hot rolled grinding balls, the unit output of ball mill be improved. The increase of ore output can offset various amortized expenses to be born by ton.
